This program is aimed at enhancing food security while contributing to mitigate climate change and preserving natural resources and vital ecosystem and ecosystem services. As such, farmers are strengthen and enhance to reducing greenhouse gas emissions per unit of land and/or agricultural product and increasing carbon sinks. These changes will contribute significantly to the mitigation of climate change. We work to build and transform agricultural production systems to be more productive, use inputs more efficiently, have less variability and greater stability in their outputs, and are more resilient to risks, shocks and long-term climate variability. We try to train the local farmers on productive and more resilient agricultural systems. To manage land, water, soil nutrients and genetic resources more efficiently. We also work to improving producers’ access to markets. The focus is to sustainably increasing agricultural productivity and incomes; adapting and building resilience to climate change; reducing and/or removing greenhouse gases emissions where possible.
